  1. If you didnt get a chance to know Pogo, i am tuely sorry. He was an extroidanary person and especially a friend. Him and his family played a big part in our lives and i know we will all miss him very deeply. He and my daughter had a special bond that will never be broken. I can still remember the looks on his and Debbies faces when my daughter said she wanted to get tested and donate one of her kidneys to Pogo. Wow, now you know he had to be a pretty special person to have touched a 12 year old enough to want to go through all that. He was a true eagle and believed in everything that the Fraternal Order Of Eagles stand for, even through-out his illness and i commend him for that. I know my family will deeply miss him and truely feel a void for a long time. Pogo we love you and will never forget you.

  2. Pogo was President at the Heber Aerie 5 times and was State President in 2007/2008. Pogo was very instrumental in having the Grande Aerie recognize the battle of Parkinsons diesease and was able to have it as his State Project.
He was on the Tri State board and was State Convention Chairman numerous times. Before joining Pl. Grove 5 years ago Pogo had never even saw ritual, let alone compete in it. having the desire to learn it, he put his mind to it and he competed and did very well too.
Pogo was very determined and driven to install
what the FOE stands for in every Aerie Home in Utah. He was always there for any question anyone had, and useually had an answer for them. He was a great leader for this State.
