A Few Thoughts

Thank you to those who left comments on the last couple of posts. I would like anyone who would like to leave a comment to feel free to do so. They don't have to be nice, although I would like them better if they were. It's all good. We all should communicate what's on our minds. I can learn from any criticism you have.

We attended visitation at the Dixie Aerie this past weekend. It was very nice. The weather cooperated until Sunday for the drive home. But it wasn't too bad. We had a very nice meeting on Saturday. The Dixie folks were very hospitable. They try very hard to accomodate us. They had a wonderful dinner after the meetings. It's very difficult for them to keep the crowd on Saturday night with Mesquite so close. So Dixie, thanks for everything, it was great!

We missed our friends Dan and Melodie's wedding while we were gone. There is a card at the Aerie for everyone to sign and donate some money if you want. We love you Dan!

With State Convention coming up the Auxiliary is preparing to compete in ritual. We will have a seated officers team and a past presidents team. So, soon the ladies will start regular practices to fine tune their already awesome skill at ritual. I have not heard what the men have planned. I am sure they will have a team or two. Good luck to you all. You will be the teams to beat!

We are planning for Pogo's memorial on the 5th. Mary is in charge of arranging for the food. If you would like to donate please contact her. The men are planning on doing a tribute /memorial ceremony. It would be nice if anyone has pictures of Pogo or stories about him to bring them to share.

We are coming to the end of the MASH fundraisers for this Fraternal year. We will be giving away the scholarship at the awards banquet May 2nd. If you know of any Pleasant Grove High School senior that is going into the medical field, please encourage them to apply for the scholarship at the counseling office at the school. This Friday is a MASH bingo, so please come out and support it.

The Eagle Riders are going fishing this weekend. Don't miss it.

The Hall of Fame is in Tooele on Saturday with social hour starting at 5:00. I encourage you all to make the trip. You never know who is being inducted. It could be one of our own. So hope to see you there!
